HWC at The Hopkinton Pride Parade

On Sunday June 19th the Hopkinton Women’s Club participated in the second annual Hopkinton Pride
Parade. Sponsored by the Hopkinton Freedom Team, this parade celebrates our LGBTQ community and
all aspects of diversity. Seven members of the club walked behind our banner – Tina Astore, Cris Bright,
Doris Early, Carol Mecagni, Marie Smith, Kanchan Tare and Kathy Yankee. Annette Proudman and Judy
Weinthaler were also there in their Freedom Team capacities. We were proud to show our support and
look forward to an even larger contingent next year!
