What scholarships and awards are available?

High School

• Hopkinton Women’s Club High School Scholarships:

The Hopkinton Women’s Club Scholarships are available through the Guidance Counseling Office to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at a university, college, community college or vocational school. Scholarships are awarded based upon academic achievement, financial need and service to the school and community. Amounts vary, but are usually in the range of $500 to $1,000.

Applications are available through Naviance in the High School Counseling Department (link https://www.hopkinton.k12.ma.us/Page/4134). Deadline for application: early April (date may vary). Scholarship amounts vary, but are usually in the range of $500 to $1,000.

• The Hopkinton Women’s Club Mary McDonough Community Service Award:

 This award is available to graduating high school seniors planning to continue their education at a university, college, community college or vocational school. Students must indicate their community service activities including, but not limited to church involvement, charities, town committees, Scouting, elderly/senior citizens, hospital/drug/nursing/Red Cross volunteer programs or youth groups.

Applications are available through Naviance in the High School Counseling Department. Deadline for application: early April (date may vary).

• Senior Honor Girl Award is given to the senior girl with the highest GPA senior year. No application required.
• Junior Honor Girl Award is given to the junior girl with the highest GPA junior year. No application required.
• Hopkinton High School MassStar Award:

Hopkinton High School MassSTAR Award is given to an outstanding sophomore to participate in this dynamic conference which brings together high school sophomores from across Massachusetts for three days of leadership training, civic education, and personal development with the aim of promoting their understanding of what it means to be an active and engaged citizen. Through intensive workshops, panels, group discussions, and activities, students are empowered to see that change in their world begins with them. Student is chosen…

Middle School

• Middle School Endeavor Award:

This award is given to an 8^th grade student who demonstrates resiliency, perseverance, determination, and earnest and industrious effort, especially when sustained over a period of time.  The student is chosen by the Assistant Principal and School Counselors.
