Beth Hankin, our 2023 Boston Marathon runner, was presented with a purple orchid to thank her for her efforts in raising $5000 for our club.
Three founding members of the HHS/HWC Book Club were presented tool kits as graduating presents from the group. A fitting gift from a Women’s Studies Book Club. We will miss their insights and enthusiasm! The Book Club will continue in the fall. New members are always welcome.
Our picnic returned to Kathy Yankee’s beautiful yard – Thanks Kathy! Delicious food, great conversation and a fun quarter auction filled the afternoon. The club raised $274 at the auction and members gained priceless heirlooms!
